In late December, the SECURE Act was signed into law. These are the top three changes you need to know. Top Three Things to Know for Individuals: 1. Required minimum distributions from your qualified retirement accounts now start at age 72, previously 70 ½ 2. Wavies penalty for pre-59 ½ plan distributions for an adoption or childbirth expenses 3. There is no longer an age cap for contributing to an IRA Top Three Things to Know for Businesses: 1. Tax credits are available for start-up retirement plans  2.
